It's a battle of the dispense methods at Howling Hops on Thursday (18.00 - 23.00) as they pitch 6 of their beers against each other. Their Pale, Pale XX & IPA (plus 3 more yet to be announced) will be available via cask and tank dispense, with tasting flights available. Legendary beer writer Peter Brown will also be in the house to offer his thoughts and all the deets are on this FB event page.
Elsewhere in East London it's extended hours o clock over at Wildcard. They'll be open on Thursday (5-12), Friday (12-12), Saturday (12-1), Sunday (12-1) and Monday (12-10) for Easter based shenanigans. There's DJ's and live music throughout (full line-up here) along with a beer festival featuring beers from Mondo, The Kernel and Hammerton.
There's yet another party at the 40FT yard on Saturday as they collaborate with the local Turkish community for a celebration of Anatolian history and culture. Lots of food, art and more - check out the FB event page for the full rundown.
North London News
One Mile End is open for the second week in a row on Saturday (10.00 - 18.00) and it's looking like a belter - new on the taps will be their 'El Topo' Triple IPA. Woof! Redemption will also be open on Saturday (11.00 - 17.00) with Japanese grub available via DonDonburi.
Over at Beavertown, you can once again try their small batch Bavarian Pils and a collab with Square Root LDN - Bergamonster Hefeweiss. Here's the full tap list for Saturday.
Elsewhere in South London..... Gipsy Hill will have three new beers available to pick up - Bogdan (NZ Pale Ale), Drifter V3 (IPA) and NxSE (Raspberry Sour). Finally, Brick are launching a new impy stout and have extended opening hours on Friday (12.00 - 22.00).

Down at The Bottle Shop, it's Juice Night V2 on Friday with Swedish breweries Brewski & Stigbergets on the taps. Expect plenty of fruity IPA's! Opening hours are extended on Friday as well (15.00 - 22.30) and the full tap list is right here.

Unfortunately, Southwark Brewing will be closed for the Easter Weekend, but they'll be back as normal next week with some new beers.
