Taproom News 09.06.2017

Tooting Folk Fest!

Picture
If folk music is your thang, then By The Horns Taproom is the place to be on Saturday for the second annual Tooting Folk Fest. The brewery will be open 12.00 - 13.30 with the music kicking off at 13.00 and running until 22.00.
Obviously, there will be beer and music, with street food vendors on site to keep you fed too. Tickets are still available via this page - standard admission is just £5 but you also have the choice of a £15 ticket which includes a brewery tour plus two 1/2 pints.

Elsewhere in South London, rock down to Brixton for the launch of their new table beer - SPARK! This is the first release from their new LTD EDN range and is sure to be a perfect beer to drill in the sunshine! You can read more about the beer and the LTD EDN range in their blog post here. FYI they're now open Friday nights (18.00 - 22.00) throughout the summer months - you can also bring your own food and have takeaways delivered to the taproom. Lovely folks.

Bermondsey

Meanwhile, in Bermondsey, The Bottle Shop have a Mikkeller tap takeover
(all weekend) and speed tasting event on Friday - you'll need to reserve
a spot for the latter.
Here are the deets and beer line up.

Anspach & Hobday have gone full on summer with a new beer.Their Mango & Chilli Gose is hitting the taps for the first time this weekend.

North & East

Peacherman (peach & apricot wit beer) returns to the Beavertown taps on Saturday - they've tweaked the brew to make it more sessioanble at a new ABV of 5%. Alongside the excellent core range, they'll also have a Rhubarb Gose, a DIPA collaboration with Lervig and the latest from the 'Beavertown Says' series - Thundering Typhoons (Belgian IPA). Grub will be provided by Souvlaki Street and you can view the full tap list here.

New boys BREWHEADZ are open once again on Saturday (12.00 - 20.00) with savoury pastries courtesy of Prestige Patisserie.

N/A for this weekend but we have a Redmeption update. Ordinarily, their taproom open days are dictated by the football season so we asked them about their plans for the 'off-season'. They're hoping to open once a month, with the next open day locked in for the 8th July. You're welcome.

Right here in Walthamstow, head over to the industrial park of dreams for some Wildcard & Pillars action. There will be street food via Curry On at the former and Walthamstow Dogs at the latter.

With over 30 taprooms open over the weekend, check out our guides for more breweries and all the opening times.
